13th Feb, 2012 Re-issue of ScottishPower Gas Prices vG
Scottish Power have re-issued their vG gas prices. The reason for this re-issue is so that their prices display to 3 decimal places.
We have sent the revised prices to our sales partners in a recent Broker Update and the prices are also available at our FTP site to download.
13th Feb, 2012 New Dual Energy Prices Released
Dual Energy has today released new prices. These prices are effective as of Friday 17th February 2012.
Dual Energy now offer two price books, the Premium price book and the Advantage price book. We have sent the price books to our sales partners in a recent Broker Update and the prices are also available at our FTP site to download.
10th Feb, 2012 - NPower Price Change
NPower has released new prices, which are effective from 9:00 am Monday 13th February.
We have sent the new prices in the Broker Update released today to all our sales partners, who have been Pinned and approved by NPower.
The prices have also been uploaded to the Online Direct FTP site for pinned and approved sales partners.

9th Feb, 2012- New BG Prices Released
British Gas announced the release of new price books effective immediately.
The gas pricing versions have now changed to v86, the electric pricing versions for acquisitions and specialist prices have now changed to v76 but the renewals remain as v75.

E.ON has released new prices today, which are effective as of Wednesday 8/02/12.
The new prices have been sent to our sales partners in our Broker Update released today.

30th Jan 2012 - New CNG Prices Released
Due to the movement in the gas wholesale market the current versions of the CNG Matrix have been suspended and our sales partners are advised not to use them with immediate effect.
CNG have issued the new price books which have been sent out to our sales partners in our last broker update.
The price books are also available at our FTP site for our sales partners to download.

NPower have released their new prices that are effective from 9:00 am Wednesday 1st February. The new prices have been sent out to our sales partners in our Broker Update.
We have also uploaded the prices for our Npower approved sales partners on the Online Direct’s FTP site.

18th Jan 2012, ScottishPower Releases Revised Single Prices vH
ScottishPower have re-issued their version H electric singles sheet prices, as they have discovered an issue with the two year pricing structure.
We have sent the new price sheets to our sales partners with the last Broker Update. The price sheets are also available at our FTP site to download.
17th Jan 2012, New BG Electric Specialist Prices v76 Released
Further to our earlier update stating BG would review their prices, BG has now issued new specialist electric prices. This release is effective immediately.
The decreased electric specialist pricing versions have now changed to v76.
Please note there is currently no change to any other BG price books.
Online Direct has sent the new quote tool to all our sales partners in a Broker Update. The quote tool and the individual price books are also available at our FTP site for our sales partners to download.

Just a week into the New Year and Online Direct is ready to announce our partnership with one of the UK’s leading utility infrastructure companies- Fulcrum!
Fulcrum is a UK based independent utilities infrastructure organisation, providing technical engineering, design, project management, consultancy and audit services across gas and multi-utility connections.

E.ON has released new prices today for both E.ON Connect and Access products. The new prices are effective as of Monday 16/01/12. The new prices have been dispatched to our sales partners through our broker update and are also available at our FTP site to download.

CNG have issued their new price books which have been distributed to our sales partners in our last broker update. The documents are also available at our FTP site for our sales partners to download.
The current versions of the CNG Matrix have now been suspended and should not be used with immediate effect.
The price change was due to the movement in the Gas wholesale market.

We have just been informed of a price change from NPower. These prices are effective from 9:00am Tuesday 3rd January 2012. If you sign a customer on these new prices before this date NPower will not accept them.

22nd Dec 2011, New Year Message from the Managing Director
It gives me real pleasure to share with you three most exciting developments within Online Direct in the current year.
First is the launch of our new website: www.onlinedirect.co.uk.
As an organization with a keen focus on our sales partners, we have always believed in the importance of communication. So we have ensured that our website is up-to-date and informative with live news from Online Direct’s news desk. If it’s important for our sales partners, it is available on our website!
Secondly, we brought on board very highly knowledgeable Sales Manager with two decades of industry experience in Energy sales and added new members to our IT, queries, marketing and processing departments. You should all have seen a marked improvement in the overall service provided by Online Direct during the latter part of 2011.
Last but not the least, we are proud to have released our state-of-the-art portal, which will not only help our sales partners to manage their contracts online but also improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity in their day to day contract generation.

19th Dec 2011: British Gas Launches New Product: “Business Energy Insight”
British Gas has launched a new product, available for electricity acquisition customers, called "Business Energy Insight".
Worth £820, Business Energy Insight is an energy monitoring service, which is available free of charge to all acquisition electricity customers using 55,000kWh or more per year.
Customers can access detailed consumption data via an online dashboard, using data collected from a smart meter.
This is a fantastic selling point for you when pitching to prospective electricity acquisition customers. Key points:
- Acquisition Electricity only
- Available for customers consuming 55,000 kWh or more per year
- Approximate retail value of £820 – £300 for the free smart meter and £520 for the value of Business Energy Insight

13th Dec 2011, ScottishPower Announces New Electric and Gas Prices
ScottishPower has announced the release of new electric and gas prices, versions “H” and "G".
ScottishPower now offer three contract length options and special prices for electric customers with a lower credit score (for scores of 26 or higher) within Version “H”. The lower credit score product is only applicable for those customers who use less than 40,000kWh Contracts have a ‘1 year offer’ review date of 31st May 2013, ‘2 year offer’ of 31st May 2014 and a '3 year offer' of 31st May 2015
ScottishPower have also introduced two pricing options for Gas, offering different standing charges. Version "G" prices have a contract '1 year offer' review date of 30th April 2013 and '2 year offer' review date of 31st May 2014
These products are effective as of today Tuesday 13th December 2011 for a limited time period only.

Online Direct has partnered with one of the UK’s leading utility infrastructure companies, which will enable the sales partners to add another suite of services to their product portfolio in the coming year.
From early 2012 sales partners will be able to offer site works, which include- meter installations, utility connections, gas disconnections, outlet pipeworks projects to name a few- to the customers. We have joined hands with a company that not only has market leading competencies and experience but is well accredited in the market. Through their qualified engineers, experienced designers and well qualified planners, Online Direct aims to deliver a service that will be focussed around the customer and create a good revenue generating proposition for our sales partners.

5th Dec 2011, New BG Gas Prices Released
British Gas has just announced the release of new gas price books. This release is effective immediately.
British Gas has informed us that only the 1 year prices for specialist, renewals and acquisition prices, for bands 2 to 4, have decreased. All other prices remain the same.
Please note there is currently no change to the Electric prices and the version (v75) has remained the same. We have sent the new prices to our sales partners in the broker update released today. If you haven’t received your copy, please send an email to info@onlinedirect.co.uk.

Npower has released their new prices that are effective from 9.00 am, Thursday, 1st December 2011. Sales partners signing contracts after 9.00 am on 1st December should follow the new prices otherwise npower will not accept them. We have sent out the prices in a broker update to all our sales partners who are pinned and approved to sell npower products. The new prices have also been uploaded to Online Direct’s FTP site. Due to the movement in the gas wholesale market the current versions of the CNG Matrix that our sales partners are using have now been suspended and should not be used with immediate effect. We will issue the new prices as soon as we receive them.
18th Nov 2011, Portal Release to Sales Partners
Online Direct released the beta version of Sales Management Portal four weeks ago to a few select partners and have received an excellent feedback. Online Direct is now geared to release the portal in phases to all their sales partners. The portal switch over is expected to complete by early 2012.
Gary Styles, the Business Development Manager at Online Direct Limited said, “After rigorous testing, we have come to a stage where we are very confident of rolling it out to all our sales partners. Unfortunately, it’s not feasible to get everybody on board at once hence we will bring our sales partners on the portal in batches.
We will be informing you well in advance before you are migrated to the portal. It is the beginning of a new relationship with our sales partners and we hope to take it to a whole new level.”

Online Direct released the beta version of their state-of-the-art Sales Management Portal, which is designed to eliminate time consuming and error-prone manual processes and reduce the dependency of sales partners on the company’s customer support team and in turn help them dramatically lower the day to day cost of operations and offer an industry leading service to their end customers.

20th Oct 2011, Re-release of BG Prices
BG have re-released their price book for Electric v72. BG have re-released their price book for Electric v72. The reason they have done this is because they have discovered some pricing discrepancies within their pricing tool. The issue seems to be mainly with two year acquisition prices.
Please discard all previous versions. If you find a pricing discrepancy between the price you have quoted and the new price please contact the office on 0845 337 0401.

30th Sept 2011, Extended Support Hours: Trial
Online Direct has announced trialling a new out of hours phone Hotline to provide its sales partners with MPANs, MPRs and credit checks until 7.30pm. In their ongoing effort to provide excellent level of service, this Hotline will be open from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on weekdays for a limited period. Online Direct may continue to offer this service depending on how well it is received by the sales partners, who have been informed about this trial period through the weekly newsletter.

Online Direct now provides a super fast verbal service for those of you who may not have access to verbal recording equipment. Either submit a completed batch header to verbalservice@onlinedirect.co.uk or call 01604 679560 and we will guarantee to contact your customer within the hour, or at a time specified by you. A dedicated team will carry out pre-contract validation checks to ensure once the verbal is completed; the sale is ready to be submitted to the supplier. Please note that there is a charge for each verbal that we do on your behalf which is payable upon completing the verbal regardless of whether the contract goes live, so please make sure you qualify the customer.
